`GHOOLIHATTI` – TUND HAIKLA HAJARA FILM WITH FORCE

We need forceful titles Sir. That is the reason we kept ‘Ghoolihatti’ a village at Chitradurga. Like how Dhandupalya village was brought bad name from the same title, we are not doing it. Only for force it is kept. We are not disrespecting or belittling anyone says director Shashankraj.

 

On Friday morning at Kanteerava studios the former minister and MLA Ghoolihatti Shekar was present to the muhurut. He gave some suggestions to the film and also agreed to appear in a guest role.

 

What is this ‘Ghoolihatti’….Tundhaikla Hajara. It is about five orphans neglected in the society having very tough time in life. They go behind money and underworld is obviously laced with it. They all join at ‘Ghoolihatti’ a place in Chitradurga district to work out a plan to get relief from what they are doing.

 

Director Shashankraj is in his fourth film getting investment from his brother in law Ashok and producing in Arjun Enterprises. Ashok is a businessman in Davanagere. He is close to politician BS Sriramulu. He is also into mining.

 

Appu Venkatesh feels comfortable in his role, Pawan as Pachi is in lead role of the five, Mahesh Siddhu is doing stunts that he has not done so far, Ajantha Venkatesh is playing Kal Manja role, Raghavendra is in his fifth film.

 

Srimanju is scoring music for five full songs and a bit. ACP Murali of 1979 batch in the police service in the last 22 years doing charity show in singing from ‘Meeti Yaadein’ is singing one sorrow song and a duet for this film.
